The elephant in the room is the Nvidia chip, which the GL63 does an excellent job at keeping at bay even when overclocked, thanks to its competent thermal module.
Our test versions is, in fact, the GL63 8SD variant available here in Europe with the 8th gen Core i7-8750H processor, but given how similar the 9750H and 8750H are, our findings also apply to the 9SD/9SDK variants more widely spread in most regions. The GL63 is not a new model by any means, it’s merely a hardware refresh with some slight refinements in this 2019 iteration, sold as GL63 9SD and 9SDK variants.
